The existing single story old house was too small for a big family with a modern life style. Mayor alterations were necessary to modernize the space and connect it to the outside, including the addition of an outdoor cantilevered pavilion. The new top floor maximizes the views of Table Mountain and Lion’s head. The garage was extended and the garden redesigned to allow adequate access to the house, a new pool and a flatter area at the back for the kids to play.
